I am 39 yrs old, type I diabetic and my legs continuously swell when using the computer. I went to the doctor last month, went back for my checkup exactly a month later and had gained 9.5 lbs because of retaining fluid. My doctor gave me lasix and I have taken it every day for 6 days and have not lost any of the fluid build up on my legs. Saturday I took the lasix and didn't even urinate for 6 hours. My legs mostly swell between my knee and ankle.

  • I forgot to say that I wear an insulin pump, brittle diabetic, and I am not overweight.
