twitching and elbow pain

Just over a year ago, I awoke one morning and had a numb little finger on my right hand, I presumed it was where I had slept on my hand. Thinking the feeling would come back in a few minutes I ignored it. I realised after ten minutes that it was no better. It was to stay like that for about four weeks.

I have since had a painful elbow on my right arm, sometimes my forearm hurts too and this arm can sometimes get a little weak.

The thing which is really weird is that my middle finger on my right hand sometimes twitches.

My GP said that I had tennis elbow, I asked whether this also explained the twitching but he didn't seem to attach any importance to this.

Has anybody had anything similar?
