About a week ago I experienced a tingling and numbing of my left earlobe.
It was accompanied by tingling sensations in my left arm and fingers
and my tongue and lips. Sometimes my tongue feels like it's recovering
from a mild food burn.
Before this episode, I was awaking at night with tingling and burning
sensations in my toes. I also have occasional palpitations and/or a
tightening of my chest, especially over the left side.
I am currently uninsured but bought an over-the-counter blood sugar
checker because my mom was diagnosed with diabetes about a year
ago, and I believe it runs in families. My readings have been in the
normal range (80-120) since I began testing (two days ago)
with the exception of one reading of 129 after a dinner meal.
Does anyone out there share similar symptoms or have any thoughts
on this? Thanks!
