I have been going rounds and rounds with doctors and tests. I have a goiter thyroid which was found to have nodules. First they tested my blood to test my hormone levels from my thyroid which came back normal. However they did find my white blood cell count to be elevated. Next they had me do some kind of swallow test for my esophogus (sic) which came back normal. Next ultrasound of my neck which is when it was discovered I have a goiter and nodules on my thyroid. Next it was off to a Thyroid scan don't know the results of that test...but after that it was off to do a biopsy of my nodules which came back non cancerous. I have had symptoms of fatigue and lack of energy...have many signs of hypothyroidism..but yet have not been confirmed on what my course of action should be or how to make it so I don't feel so crappy all the time. Is there something that can be done? Or do I need to have my whole thyroid removed? I was told my nodules are everywhere both sides. I have several (mostly on left side).Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
