This is kind of a strange thing, but I have been getting pain and pressure (mostly pressure) while working out on the elliptical machine at the gym. The first time it happened I was really exerting myself and now it's kind of always there and gets worse when I'm doing cardio. Can you pop or misalign anything on the trachea?

  • I have the exact same problem. Almost every time that I do cardio I get throat discomfort, tightness, sometimes pain, and it laso seem to radiate from the throat to the chest if I keep exerting myself. I think it is some sort of a muscle spasm in the throat

  • First off I am not a doctor or in the medical profession.I was having the same symptoms that you have described and I WENT to a Doctor. After a battery of questions some tests etc I was diagnosed with "Angina".I have never had high blood pressure or any symptoms of heart problemsbut I do have a family history of heart issues. Angina can be a symptom of heart problemsor it can be a reaction to stress or exertion. It can manifest in different waysbut four me it was mainly pain in my lower throat and chest area accompaniedwith a shortness of breath. It has normally occurred when I was exerting myselfThe best advice I can offer is Google "angina" and make an appointment to see your doctor. When it comes to your health and the possible development of a serious health conditionalways play the safe side. If you prepare yourself you'll be more likely to ask the right questions whenYou visit your doctor. Hope this is some help and good luck.
