I had a regular doc. visit and blood work. I had some elevated enzyme levels; AST 153, ALT 70. My doctor told me to quit drinking and take B-1 and B-12. I did, she also wanted me to get an ultrasound which revealed an enlarged liver, 16.6 cm. nothing else was found but some calcified granuloma on the spleen. doctor said nothing to worry about.
One month later I had more blood work and my numbers are all back to normal but my doctor still wants me to go see a specialist. Now I am having pains in my upper abdomin right side (under my breasts) and upper back pain. I am having sharp pains like lightening in my hands legs and feet. Swelling in my hands and feet (not huge but really noticable) and sometimes the pain puts me on the floor holding the area of pain like a cramping feeling. I also have been feeling my heartbeat vividly in my chest and neck, out of the blue even when I am sitting studying or lying down for a nap. I check my bloodpressure and pulse rate and everything is normal.
I thought since my bloodwork is back to normal I was on my way to recovery to my liver but my symptoms are getting worse and painfull.
(I am still not drinking I was a heavy drinker socially and binged but since the doctor told me I am harming my self I have not been drinking whatsoever!)
