i have suffered for years with abdominal pain lower left side upper right side my lower back and im always tired. i get the chills several times a day and have terrible night sweats (looks like i just stepped out of the shower) i wake up everynight with them. i will go from having diahrria for long periods of time to not being able to go. when i cant for a few weeks i get a funny medal rotten egg type taste in my mouth. at first it would only be around my period now it has no pattern. i has only got worse since my first pregnancy 10 yrs ago i have had 8 misscarriges then i had a daughter 19 months ago and it has gotten really bad since then. ive had ultasounds blood work to check everything from std's to cancer and nothing i had a laprascopy and they found a nerve growing wildly in my lower left abdoman the pain was gone for about 2 weeks and then came back just as painfull as befor i have colonoscapy on jan 10 hopefully it will help. they have me on lotronex for 2 months and it isn't helping they also have tried treating me for depression as well thinking that might be the cause but after 6 months of that and the pain is still there. can anyone help me
im 28 with two kids and i want to be healthy for them.

  • Did you have normal vaginal births, or c sections? Did they find a cause for your recurrent miscarriages? How is your diet? Do you eat any foods on a daily basis? DOM

  • You know, you can have parasites and worms in your tissues where they can't check. Many of our tumors are actually worm casings, especially in the brain. I'm glad they did check you since it seems to be intestinal hopefully that would have tested correctly in your case. You could have something twisted or knotted, perhaps a large gall stone in the intestine plugging everything up. Look up natural gall stone formulas online, usually olive oil and grapefruit juice (gag a maggot)...I actually did that formula years ago and passed a gall stone the size of a half dollar which my naturopath said was lodged in my intestine...!!!

  • It may be worthwhile to get an ultrasound and get them to check your ball bladder to make sure it's not a diseased gall bladder. Not common at your age but it does happen. My mother had one and a gall stone and her doctor was treating her for a hernia for 2 years before another doctor had the sense to order an ultrasound.

  • Have you been checked out for either of these nasty bugs: Campylobacter and Helicobacterhttp://www.gsbs.utmb.edu/microbook/ch023.htmCampylobacter species cause acute gastroenteritis with diarrhea, abdominal pain, fever, nausea, and vomiting. Recently, Campylobacter infections have been identified as the most common antecedent to an acute neurological disease, the Guillain-Barré syndrome.....(more detail via link above) Also you might want to be tested for and explore this as another possibility:Lactose Intolerance versus Milk Allergyhttp://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/stevecarper/livallg.htm

  • Hi karen, It's just a shot almost in the dark BUT you happen to have a whole lot of symtoms that are entirely consistant with methylb12 deficiency, from the gastric problems to the depression to the miscarriages. The rotten egg taste I used to get when I had nausea, IBS (includes alternating diarhea and constipation), nausea, taste changes (loss of being able to smell or taste strawberries normally) was all part and parcel of my b12 deficiencies. Most all of these disappearred in the first 120 days of sublingual methylb12 (Jarrow and Enzymatic Therapy were by far the two best brands by effects on 5 hypersensitive testers). I haven't had the nausea or rotten egg effect since the very first methylb12 sublingual.
