I wonder if anyone else out in this wide world of ours has something similar? It started with a rash on my arms about four years ago. The rash disappeared and bruising appeared it moved down my arms to my hands and fingers. Under the skin there were odd lumps on my arms and hands as well. My hands were so swollen I couldn't bend them. This slowly (in the weeks to come) moved and covered my whole body. The vision started to go in and out in my left eye. The bruises would come and go. I started having weakness in my left leg. And even though the bruising seemed to start clearing up there was still pain in my joints and I started to have severe migraines. The bruising localized on my face along my jaw line but mostly around my eyes. It looked like I had gone a few rounds in and lost. In face when we went into the ER they were sure my husband was abusing me. This whole situation has been a nightmare. The Drs have not come up with any answers. The symptoms do not seem to line up with any one thing. I did not mention the confusion I have. There are days when I tell my son to go vacuum the lawn. I feel on some days like I am play a game of charades because for the life of me I can not find the right words. I used to love to read and since this illness reading a book takes so much effort. Retaining new information difficult. I also have chronic fatigue. Even a short walk is a lot. So I am throwing this out to all of you. I have tried going through Kaiser for four years. So if anyone has any ideas I would love to hear them. And I mean that with all of my heart. I have a big family and I would love to get of the bench and get back in the game if possible!!!!
