Ready for this one, I'm only 21 years old, I should be feeling great and in the prime of my life right? WRONG, I feel horrible, I have so many different symptoms its hard to keep track of them. About 4 years ago when I was 17 I started feeling really bad, somedays its worse, some days its better, just generally do not feel like a healthy person, like I used too. I am always tired, my lower back on both sides and my spine, and my upper back hurts hurts(sometimes my lower back hurts so so bad I have to lay down but very rarely). Sometimes my heart palpitates uncontrolably. Sometimes when I am laying in bed right before I am about to fall asleep and only when I am about to fall asleep I feel like I can't move and my heart stops or goes crazy in my chest, but I am unable to move at all but fully consicous during these episodes. One of the most uncomfortable symptoms I have is that my right side of my abdomen is considerabley larger then my left. There is an oblong lump below my ribcage and another one just above my pelvis. I went to see a doctor like is that my liver or something popping out a year and a half ago and he said probably not but i said i wanted a second opinion and I went to a surgeon, the surgeon felt it and said it was just a muscle?????He gave me some weird explanation and told me not to worry about it????I'VE SEEN LIKE 4 DOCTORS ABOUT THIS.But yet it is uncomfortable and its not normal. Its like, the abdominal muscles on my right side are grossly disproportioned to my left, a lot higher then my left side, even my right testicle is higher then my left(sorry for too much information just want some anwsers!).There is also pain on the right side.I have a general feeling of weakness all over, and its really hard for me to put on weight, I'm really skinny and pale about 6'1 140. I try to live a healthy lifestyle and exercise and take vitamins(mostly because I feel so bad. I can't even work, I feel that bad, and I feel bad just laying around my house. I'VE BEEN TO SO MANY DOCTORS TELLING THEM IM TIRED, IM WEAK, I DONT FEEL THE WAY I USED TO,I HAVE NO ENERGY TO DO ANYTHING,THAT SOMETHING IS WRONG. THEY ALL TELL ME I'M FINE BUT I'M REALLY NOT. DOES ANYBODY HAVE ANY ANWSERS TO MY LONG LIST OF SYMPTOMS.

  • Get your thyroid checked. I've been having some similar problems and it looks as if it may be my thyroid. Hope this helps. Good luck to you.P.S. I have the sexual problems, too.

  • You need to have a regular blood test done to check everything and a thyroid panel done to check how your thyroid is functioning. You may need to have your TSH (thyroid stimulating hormone) checked a few times to see if it is erratic, once a month for a few months may be enough. You could have problems with other glands, too. The pituitary gland or adrenal glands may not be functioning correctly, either. All of these glands have a lot to do with hormones which have an effect on how you feel and they control bodily functions. Don't give up and don't let someone tell you that you are fine when you are not. I've been through the same stuff. I've done a lot of research on the internet trying to find out what is wrong with me. I'm not a doctor or anything in the field but I've dealt with doctors who don't seem to believe there is a problem with me, either.

  • Your pancreas is a gland, too. Maybe that would have something to do with the bulging out of your abdomen. You definitely need to get all of the different tests done on the chemicals in your body through blood tests.
