My story, I triped and fell in August of 2006, was first diagnosed with a fractured scaphoid and tip of my radius, turned out to be tfc tear but had a second cts release in the meen time by the first doc at which time he said he removed an ipressive amount of scar tissue and the area appears to be swollen and quit sensitive. The doc now is the one who found the tfc tear and performed the ulnar shortening and capsuladesis. Now I have Ulnar Neuropathy at the elbow so they say? The problem is the pain is in my little finger and the top of my ring finger and goes through the palm below the two little fingers and at times goes uo my bycep and is very intense, the only relief I can achieve is from rest and pain meds. I feel the problem is from the first docs missed diagnoses as two other docs said they doubt there was ever any fractures and the ct release was not necessary but they say the first doc did nothing wrong as he did not breach treatment!! I now have a P.I. from the insurance company following my wife and I around. The I.M.E. doc say's the problem I now have is ulnar neuropathy and say's it is caused by consistent arm bending not a fall, should I be ready for a cut off on my workers comp? This sucks and I dont know where to turn. I am only 48 and drive a tractor trailer for a living and really do not want to go through any more surgeries other than to remove the hardware I now have in my forearm, any advise please!
P.S. I think the problem starts at the wrist not the elbow as the pain begins at the fingers and palm.
