Swollen Neck Lymph Nodes

About a year ago, a woman crept up on me and started massaging my neck. I had shaved that morning and my skin is quite sensitive. The next day the lymph nodes in my neck were swollen. It was a dull feeling of pressure that just didn't go away. That was a year ago and it still hasn't gone away. What happened?
