In August, my 17 year old daughter , a gymnast, underwent meniscus surgery for 2 tears and the swelling never subsides. There is no pain. If she does absolutely nothing the swelling goes down, but even stairs will cause swelling. She has had her knee drained once and is currently taking naproxen. The leg is strong, but swelling--it is minor--persists. Has anyone experience this? The treatment has been lots of physical therapy and icing.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
