Our son had Petti Mal seizures from age 9 to 17, now at 32 yrs old Thanksgiving day evening 2005 and after supper my son and daughter-in-law were watching T.V.. She was on the floor sitting between his legs. Something funny came on and while laughing she turned and saw Herb in a Grand Mal type seizure situation. she rushed him to the hospital where they ran C.A.T. scan, blood work , EKG. They found nothing and sent him home. His Dr. ordered a 72 hr. EEG, and then a 72 hr. EKG again nothing. An MRI he had been done 6 months before this happened and they have not done another. Dr's say no seizure and no sign's stroke. HMMM..Today they have him on Depacote for seizure's and headaches which he still has both, and Lexapro because someone thinks he is depressed and which he gained 55 lbs. on this RX. At 1 blood-work-up his vitamin B-12 was 306 on the bottom of the scale. But his Dr. never cared to check up on that. Herb has lost 1/2 his short term memory and 1/2 his long term memory. His Dr's. have no understanding why.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
