Strange odour

I have been unable to determine what is causing me to have the following symptoms.

If I breath through my nose normally, air intake, sensation of oudours, and exhalation are all normal.

If however, I inhale sharply/strongly through my nose I sense a sharp pungent odour (seemily like sheep manure) briefly and relatively faintly but definately there.

I am not aware of any issues affecting this, such as bad teeth, sinus problems, or living on or near a farm. I do have sleep apnea and use a CPAP nightly.

I am on a large number of medications and if anyone is interested, I will list them.

If anybody has any thoughts, I would be most interested in your response.
