I working out about 3 weeks ago. I was doing a flat type bench workout when I let the weight back a little too fast. I am in a lot of pain and have already lost about 11-12 pounds. I feel terrible and it’s very depressing.
I feel pain around collar bone right above my upper peck on my right side. It feels like a possible strain of a ligament. Its discomfort not extreme pain but I am unable to do any chest, arm, trap, or over the head workout. I’m not sure if there is a ligament in that area it’s almost where the middle of the chest connects above that right toward the center or end of the collar bone. Please help anybody. I am curious how to help heal it I use to ice it, now I am using a heat pad. I take every once in awhile IB prophin. I don’t really see any improvements and it worries me. Maybe I am overreacting and I just need to give it a month or maybe more to heal? I can't imagine waiting more than a month. My worst worries are it may not heal and w/o health insurance my options are limited.
