For the last 2 years I have been suffering with extreme heartburn and food coming up. It is especially bad so I avoid curry anything spicey it has now extended to bread, pastry and various. I dare not have a half a glass of wine or alcohol then I am sick for 3 days.
Initially they treated me for an ulser but in June 2008 they looked with a camera and said I had a hiatis hernia and the dueoudenum has narrowed causing scarr tissue. I have now had a barium but it has become so bad I throw up almost on a daily basis after eating! Sorry!
In the meantime I went for a smear which came back showing abnormalities. My doctor gave me a perscription for over the counter thrush. I have gone through the change of life and have bled badly for the last 6 weeks. Not normal period and after taking antibiotics my friend gave me for urinal infection the bleeding has stopped and I am feeling better.
The receptionist at the doctor phoned me after hours to advise I need to get emergency treatment as the smear in not good.
This has been going on for two years now I also suffer from severe tiredness and somedays find it hard to put one foot in front of another.
I have not lost any weight but find it hard to believe the medically there is nothing the doctors are doing to help me. This has affected my relationship, affects my work and I never go out anymore as I do not have the energy to do so.
Any advise would be appreciated.
