Woke up on March 2 2008 and I was trying to catch my breath-very fast like, I went to the ER, after a hour or so they told me my right side lung collapsed. I freaked. They put a chest tube in me to help it from hurting my heart. They transfered me to another hosp. after a couple days and umpteen hundred ct-xrays etc the lung doc came in and told me my lung will not stay up on its own and I needed surgery asap. Come to find out I was diagnosed with a bleb disease i was born with on the top of BOTH lungs and they needed to be removed. I agreed the surgery went well on the first one. I was sent home March 11 2008. I was fine when I got well no colds or anything.

Second surgery was set up for May 12 2008 for my left lung due to I didnt want to have the chance of a collapse or tramua again. Second surgery went well cept I CAUGHT A COLD WHILE IN THE HOSP. I coughed alot the doc told me I will be fine and they sent me home may 16 2008. I went back and seen surgery doc he told me to take claritin for a week and that should do it. WRONG!

I begin to have panic attacks and still im coughing so i see my family doc he gave me Alprazolam for the attacks due to all the tramua i went through. I go back to see Fam doc and he did x-rays and told me hes gonna treat me for bronchitis, he gave me antib. and it didnt help. 6 Months later im still cought/clearing throat/spitting clear phlem same symptons I had after second surgery supposly this cold they said ill be fine with.

Any suggestions to what I should do? Any suggestions to what I might have? Thanks for taking the time to read this=):)
Ive taken every otc cold meds and no luck.
