:( :( :( :(
Please help me. I have had a sore red tounge for over a year. I am a 53 year old woman with pulmonary fibrosis. Yes I am on steroids but this started before I started taking them. I don't believe it is a yeast infection either.

  • Hi memewilson, Without knowing more, I will venture to guess that you have an early sign of becoming anemic. It is an early sign of: iron anemia, pernicious anemia, or other forms of anemia. If you start having headaches that are more frequent and lasting longer, until the headaches are there 24/7, constantly tired, regardless of how much sleep that you get, abnormally rapid heartbeat, brain fog, numbness and tingling of the arms and more commonly the legs, loss of balance, extreme mood changes. Then I would see your doctor and have some blood tests, like: CBC (complete blood count) to see if you are anemic. I wish you all the best...GOOD LUCK...SKEETER.:)
