Hi. I am a 17 year old male. I'm quite thin and I just got over a spontaneous pneumothorax in my left lung about 3 weeks ago. I felt perfectly fine for awhile but earlier this week I started to feel short of breath as if I had to take deep breaths to get good air. Because of this my chest and abdomen are now sore, and my shortness of breath isn't getting any better. I'm extremely worried that this may have something to do with my pneumothorax I mentioned earlier. My main theory is that it's anxiety because it seems to get worse when I worry about it more. I started smoking for only a month before quitting. I've been trying to eat more and put on weight to avoid another pneumo. Also I feel like I'm starting to panic when I can't catch my breath (Another reason I think it may just be anxiety). Give me your input on what you think it could be. I really hope it's not related to my pneumothorax. I've also been feeling a bit sick to my stomach and very nervous.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
