Smelly cyst

I have a disk shaped cyst on my cheek about half the size of a dime, It is not painfull, but a couple of times a month it exsudes a bad odor. It will allways do so if I shave over it. It's disgusting and makes me self concious.
My insurance won't cover the removal. They say it's cosmetic. It causes me grief. I was hoping someone might know a way of keeping it's "eruption of odor" under control.

  • It might be what is called a subaceous cyst. Spelling may not be correct, but it is close enough for you to search the web for some help.
