Hi all, i'm a 17 year old girl and suffering from skin diseases.
Such as;

Chronic Idiopathic Urticaria - Red itchy weels which appear anywhere over my body at anytime of day and lasts for however long it wants to.
Dermographism - Skin writing disease which is known to come with Urticaria, but that's also very itchy .
Angieodema - Swelling of face , also known to come with Urticaria but it's very painful.

Them three i've had for nearlly 5 years now, i've been back and forward to the hospital doing blood tests and skin tests but they can't seem to find anything, i've been given so many different types of antihistamines but none of them have worked.

I also have;
Dermatitus - Another very itchy skin rash which i had when i was younger on my Legs then it cleared away but now it has come back but this time on my Elbows, upper Arms and Ankles and are starting to appear on my Legs again. I had different creams for this but they seem to have all made it worse.
Psoriasis - Flakey itchy skin on my Elbows which i've had for 3 months now. The doctors have given me Aquaereous Cream for that which i think i'm allergic to as it makes my Urticaria flare up even more than usual.
Acne - Which is usual for teenagers, but i've had it since i was 10 and it's just not clearing up at all, i've had different creams and antibiotics for this but as per usual, nothing seems to work for me. :(

I've seen hundreds of doctors and dermatologists, but they all tell me the same thing which is either "It will clear up soon" , "Come back in 6 months" or "I'll put you on a higher antihistamine dosage".
I've been on so many different food diets.
I changed all products i use from cleaning to make-up.
I've done all most about everything to help prevent it all.
It makes life very stressfull, it's very hard to cope with the constant itching, i can hardly sleep at night and i'm very embarrassed by it.
What do i do?!! Someone please help.. :confused:

  • You know, I saw something like this on the tv show, Mysterious Diagnosis. Unfortunately, I forget what they said the young man had but it usually occurs around age 5, so the fact that it hit the young man at age 21 threw off the diagnosis. It was a genetic condition that usually resolves on its own, but two years later, the guy still had it, but not as bad. You might want to see a geneticist and run it past him, that it is a genetic condition that usually comes up at a much younger age, thereby confusing the diagnosis.
