A little over two years ago I fell and hit the left side of my head on my door jam I did not get knocked out, just a little dizzy and a headache. A week later I went swimming and went to the bottom of a 6 foot pool and came up real fast and had severe ear pain in the right ear. It felt as if there was an ice pick down my ear canal. I went to my family physcian who prescribed antibiotic thinking it was a reg. earache. It did not work so he sent me to an E.N.T.. From there I ended up being sent to an neuroligist, chriopractor, biofeedback, acupuncture and pain specialist. I have had MRI's, Ct, MRA's, EEG's, EKG's, cranial manipulation and checked for autoimmune diseases. My lymphnode on the right side of neck was extremly inlarged and ended up being removed and cheked for Hodgkins disease.Every test has come back negative. MY right lymphnode is constantly enlarged and debilitating ear pain. I have had 16 blocks which one called the stellate ganglion block that worked, freeing me of pain for 17 hours. One Dr. says you can ablate that nerve others say you cannot.I am currently on moraphine for the pain. One of the Dr.'s that performed cranial manipulation said my suture lines were locked from the fall was causing the pain in my ear. Other Dr.'s disagree and I am stumped and in agony.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
