Hi, i haven't been feeling very good for about the past two months. I am a active 18 year old college student in Texas. I have seen my general doctor and even a gastrointernologist, and both have come back with nothing except good healthy results, i have had complicated blood work done twice and all results came back fine. I have ruled out the flu/cold and any sort of intestinal problems(having pyloric stinosis as a baby was the main reason for seeing the gastro intern. where i had a colonoscopy and upper endoscopy). My symptoms are really hard to describe( my reason for reaching out to the online community). I have these deep chest pains on the left side of my chest usually toward the end of the day, and at night i almost always have these same pains in my throat. I dont have a sore throat or anything like that, and hardly cough. I cannot describe to you how annoying it is... it *****s me off and slows me down more than anything because once the pain starts its always on my minds. I used to be a pretty avid pot smoker in my younger days and slowed down enormously when coming out to school.... I have now completely quit for about the past month and a half because smoking just intesified this paranoia of what was going on with me . I also have completely changed my diet from a high carb and protein diet to one more balanced. I have a v8 and dan active in the morning along with a bowl of cereal and drink atmost 2 sodas a day, my lunch usually consists of on the go sorta things like granola bars and protein bars, and usually have something nice and hardy for dinner. I keep telling myself that i just needed a better diet but after 3 weeks nothing has improved. I used to work out every day and at the end of last semester i pretty much ceased working out due to finals and what not. I have now begun to work out about 4 days a week slowly putting myself back in the gym, and I feel like its helping but when i come home and lay in my bed and this pain begins and all hopes are lost. Again my main reason for reaching out to the online community is to see if anyone has had these same sorta symptoms and what they were caused by. I cant tell you how much it sucks to be doing well in school and having this persisting problem. My general doctor thinks nothing is wrong and I dont blame her because of all the tests but i feel that I'm the best person to say "I know somethings not right."Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
