Have been having intermittent right sided back pain (level below the ribs) along with slight fever (100) for 2 months. Had CT of abdomen-normal, US of gallbladder which showed small amounts of sludge, small stones, small polyp. Also, indigestion and fatigue. Waiting to hear from internist. Should I have a hida scan to show function of gallbladder- should I see a GI doc, should I see a surgeon about having the gallbladder removed. Not sure what route to take. Any suggestions?
