Hello. I have been diagnosed with rocky mountain spotted fever. My spots have cleared up since I began treatment. I never had the fever associated with rocky mountain spotted fever and I did not seek treatment for five days after I developed the rash. I am concerned about long-term problems and I am not sure if I have been diagnosed correctly- It appears that people with rocky mountain spotted fever always have a fever, and I wonder why I did not.
