I woke up yesterday with a horriable rash everywhere except my face. I was thinking that it was hives, i didnt eat anything new, didnt use new soap or lotion. I took some benadryl, it helped with the itching a little but didnt take away the rash. last night my joints starting really bad, i had a hard time walking my knees hurt so bad. so i looked on the internet to see what would cause joint pain with a rash and it brought up rheumatic fever. i had rheumatic fever when i was 10 years old and i remember my legs hurt so bad that i couldent walk.( i was in a parade and i had to ride in the back of the truck cuz i couldent walk.) when i woke up this morning i couldnt stand my legs and knees hurt so bad. i have not had a strep recently. can you get rheumatic fever from anything elce? i know when you have had it in the past it is really easy to get again but i just dont know. so if anyone knows please let me know, i really dont have the money to go to the doctor if all it is is a rash from nothing. i dont want to over react or anything. thank you so much! -jayReply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
