I'm a 22 year old female who was recently diagnosed with a fallopian tubes infection. I was given medication for 3 weeks. I have now finished my medication and felt much better.

This weekend (3 weeks after the infection) I had sexual relations with my spouse of 4 years and during intercouse I was in severe pain.

My question is, could I just be sore due to scarring or should I go back to my Gynecologist and discuss this pain.

Thank you.

  • I too was recently put on meds for fallopian tube. No, I think the scarring you talk about happens when it's undiagnosed and left untreated. Mine was from a ruptured cyst on the ovary that just blew and the fluid drained down into the fallopian tube. I was worried about etopic pregnancy and other stuff that causes it. My doc told me to get off the internet and stop freakin out. you do the same. It's gonna be ok
