:( For over a month now I have been having pressure in my chest . It is worst when I stand up from sleeping first thing in the morning. My feet (toes) and my fingers hurt also. If I sit for a long period of time then I feel the sharp pressure again. Has anyone had these symthums?

  • Anytime you have discomfort in your chest you must have a doctor check it out. If you can't afford a doctor, go to the emergency. You might have fluid build up in your chest and joints which would indicate heart disease.good luck!

  • I had a stress test done and Dr. said that he would set up an ECHO test. I am waiting for the appt.date. In the mean time I still feel lots of pressure and some pain when I wake up in the mornings or sit for long periods of time. Also I am having low back pain. Wondering if it is related.

  • My eating habits are not good. I usually don't eat breakfast but then eat latter in the day (binge). At one point today I really considered going to the ER, My chest was hurting so bad, the sharp pain lasted for about 15 mins. then stoped. The pain is now back, it is a dull ache but it is constant.

  • I am not a doctor, and no one could diagnose you by knowing one single symptom. But I wonder if you have consider having some sort of "food induce asthma". For example, what kind of foods do you eat?If you are willing to check and see if food is a factor, you could try by using this diet:http://www.drcranton.com/elimination_diet.htm I had bad chest pains and difficulty lying down (tests showed everything normal), and it went away after following this diet. I reintroduced the "suspecting food" and I got the chest pains again. So far I know milk, beef, potatoes give me this weird asthmatic reaction with the chest pressure. Good Luck

  • I had never thought of foods as the possable problem. I will go onto the site and see if any of the foods i eat are listed. The sharp pains I had today were before I had eaten. The pain is on the left side and sometimes the middle, I can feel its sharpness all the way thru to my back. It has been a steady dull ache all day. It's now 12:16 am (ct) and the pressure is alittle stronger now. There have been times when the pain feels like a "flickering of my lungs" I don't know any other words to describe it.

  • Well, I described my pains as "stabbing" during the night time- but as long as I keep eating the foods that so far I know don't make me react- I am safe. You know, painful joints without actually been doing any strenuous exercise is an auto immune system response- that is how it also links to allergies. An offended body start acting violently.I keep telling everyone to read this book I just read- since I crashed down with a truck load of weird symptoms that my doctors have not figured out. This book helped me a lot- but I also researched a lot on my own. "Never Be Sick Again".Good LuckBe Well

  • Last night I ate fried fish and was soo sick. My stomach hurt so bad. I almost called 911. I spent the night the night in so much pain, too afraid to go the the ER. I threw up so much until there was only clear water left. Then my chest started hurting, I could feel the pain all the way into my back. I have not eaten today as I am still hurting in my stomach and chest. I'm wondering if I have gall stones or just a virus. But why the chest pains?

  • your gall bladder will make you feel like you are having a heart attack and you will through up till you feel like your toenails are the next to come up. you really need to have a dye test done on your gall bladder. been there done that was diagnoised with cancer and it was gall bladder all the time. had to go to houston to find out for sure.
