possible head injury inuced schizophrenia

when i was small i got into a lot of accidents. i had been injured by others. i had multiple blows to the head by being thrown to the wall when i was only a month old. i had numerous times had to go to the hospital for stitches because of this . i would like to know if it is possible to have numerous blows to the head causing induced schizophrenia . if this is posssible, is there a different treatment than the antipsychotic medications i am currently on?:(
