please im in need of any suggestion

i was in a car accident on the 22nd of march i am not getting any where with my dr. my right side chest hurts very bad when i take a deep breathe in it hurts i cough it hurt it hurts to breathe,i have had a blood clot in the past and im almost certain it is happing again,when i get up in the morning i cant breathe im in so much pain. it is so imberrible the dr. has me in a stecty strap that goes across my chest it helps some,but no exray of chest at all,at the hospital they did a ct scan on my head and chest nothing was there they sayed. my problem is im still in alot of pain,it hurts to breathe

  • Hi dinejazz, sorry your feeling unwell, you probably have tissue damage like deep bruising maybe caused by your seat belt, this can be very painful but will slowly improve, it may well be worth while going back to emergency department not your doctor, as they will have to see to you there & then, let them have another look at you just to rule out a blood clot. Did you have treatment/evaluation in an ER at the time of the accident? You certainly may have significant soft tissue injuries but there could be something more that was missed on the initial CT of your chest.It would be reasonable to have a chest x-ray or follow-up chest CT at this point to rule out an underlying undiagnosed injury...or possible blood clot in your lung, considering your history.Best regards,John
