Please help me, I don't know why I cannot breathe well anymore?

I am hoping someone out there has a diagnosis better than what I am hearing and feeling..
I am a 42 year old healthy (or was) female, non-smoker, 135 lbs. In the past 4 weeks I have gone from feeling "out of shape" down to barely walking without being extremely short of breath, and at times barely finishing sentences because I am so out of breath.
I have been given a diagnosis of asthma.
I have had cardiac issues ruled out by ekg, echo, and a stress test.
I have had a chest xray, ct scan (no blood clot), blood work, thyroid tests done, and am awaiting my pulmonary function tests. (I am assuming the chest xray would have caught a lung tumor?)
I don't have a cough or any mucus.
I just feel like I can't draw a full lung expansion most of the time and when I do it feels good, but sometimes a little painful that I got it. I have chest tightness and it feels like there is a tight band around my lungs squeezing.
Does this sound familiar? Can someone tell me what this sounds like?
I would be eternally grateful if I could run and play with my family again...

  • It sounds to me like you are a victim of the spraying campain that is going on. Alot of the time the air is full of particulate matter from military aircraft spraying aerosols. The phenomenon is known as chemtrails. I don't know what we can do about the problem because it seems that most people aren't even aware it's going on. I think getting other people aware is a good first step though. The spray from these military aircraft contains heavy metals for use with other military technology that can be a burden on the resperatory system. Getting a high quality air filter for your home and staying indoors on heavy spray days might help your lungs recover a bit. Good luck to you.

I was taking Topomax for migraines. When they increased my dosage, that was around the time these symptoms started (now I know this in retrospect). I have since stopped taking Topomax and I have slowly gotten back 100% of my health. Thanks

  • chest tightness and it feels likeunfortunately it DOES sound familiar. I got like that about 3 years ago - same, age actually - couldn't get up a flight of stairs without wanting to lie down. i felt like I couldn't get enough air. it was my B12 level - once it finally got diagnosed - after all the same tests you had - all of a sudden i could breathe again! the interesting fact that I found out after the fact was that it is now being realized that people with CF also have low B12 levels - chicken or the egg? find out if your B12 level is low - that was my first and largest symptom. if it starts to get low now - like 3 weeks after my injection, then I feel like i'm going to backslide into that again and feel even more fatigued. Hope that helps.
