I am a 39 year old male, started getting sick 3 years ago. Vertigo, nausea, headaches, muscle and joint aches, rasheson face and legs, severe fatigue, cloudiness in the head, insomnia. i could talk all day about the symptoms. I have been to every specialist you can imagine. My GP discovered a positive ANA and protein +++ in urine. My dr said i have LUPUS and i was sent to a rheumatologist. She ran further tests and found anticardiolipin antibodies and ANCA antibodies. The specialist sais i am an open book and she is not diagnosing at this time. My ESR is always normal. I have neutropenia and have had a kidney biopsy with finding of IGA nephropathy. I have constant sinus but scan is clear??? I am confused. I also have a lot of gastrointestinal problems. sometimes my thyroid function is abnormal so is blood glucose, cholesterol and have elevated bilirubin. I have had enough my body is going crazy. I have been on prednesone and at the moment am on 400mg daily of plaquenil. Please help

  • Your symptoms sound widespread and systemic. Consider an immune response to allergens. I found out 4 years ago that I have fibromyalgia and other serious health problems which were mostly resolved by eliminating common allergen causing foods. The primary culprits are gluten, citrus, eggs and dairy. Conventional medicine doesn't recognize immunologic allergic responses although physicians are begining to....good luck...try eliminating these things from your diet for 2 weeks and see if you feel better...then, if it is working eliminate for 3 months and add one back in at a time to see which foods are the culprit. I was advised to take antioxidant medicinal shakes at the same time to clean out my system. For more information seek out a naturopath.
