I have been getting a pins and needles unpleasant sensation around 4am every morning for over 8 months now. It starts in my hands then goes to my chest and sometimes my legs though not always. Sometimes it happens more than once. I am tired all the time and have lost a lot of weight. My GP hasn't been able to explain it and it is wearing me down. I have started treatment for anxiety (beta blockers) but it hasn't stopped the sensation from happening. :o Can anyone help? Please?

  • Hi NikkiThanks for replying to my post. I don't get vertigo as such but I do overbalance sometimes and I am very clumsy, breaking, dropping and falling over things. Hope you get sorted out with your symptoms soon.Kate

  • I HIGHLY SUGGEST that you get straight to a Neurologist or other spine doctor/ specialist - have an MRI & EMG to check your cervical spine (neck) - sounds like you may have a compressed spinal nerve and/or spinal disc herniation or two!

  • Thank you for that. I didn't even think about my spine but my neck crunches constantly and when I turn a certain way every bone in my back seems to click. That has definately given me a different perspective on what might be going on.:o

  • I actually suggest seeing a chiropractor, you sound like you may have some vertebrae out. At least rule this out by seeing a good chiropractor soon.V
