  • What did they say was causing the palpitations? Do they have you on any medication? and do they occur more frequently with exercise/activity?

  • I have had palpitations for many years. Went to ER about 15 years ago, cause my heart was racing heavily and did not seem like it would slow down. Doctor hooked me to a machine showing my heart racing, he put some meds into my IV and brought it back to normal. Had to see a cardiologist afterward and was placed on mild blood pressure pill. Told me to stay away from caffeine. He had me get another test done. Said I had some mild leakage in a couple of valves. Could do surgery, but probably not worth it at my age.I drink very few caffeinated drinks now, though. Have not had anymore bad attacks. Will be 71 in a couple more weeks. Hope this helps. God bless you. Follow in God's Path for YOUR life. You will never regret it☺
