I have pain in my right arm as well as a burning sensation, (sometimes like a pinching or needle stick). I have pain when I raise my arm up and to the side and at times I have to put a blanket on because the air conditioner makes that arm cold and almost numb. I also feel uncomfortable on my right scapula area when I am reclining in a chair. It feels like a knot or something but you can't see anything. A couple of months ago I had two fingers on my left hand go numb and went to have an MRI and was told by a pain management Dr.that the test showed a degenerative cervical disc was pressing on the nerve that controlled those two fingers. Fortunately, from the time of the MRI to the time the Dr. saw me, the pain was gone so I didn't get any treatment. He told me to come back if it happens again. This is a different problem but does this problem seem like it could be from a degenerative disc or should I go to someone else.
