:) GREETINGS from Houston,TX
In Dec of 2004 I became a para after my PCP mis-diagnosed my severe back pain .While in the emergency room, being examine for my sudden paralysis, an MRI revealed a gamma straph infection in my 7&8 thoracic.
I've been in Rehab since 2005 and finally ...up and walking slowly with the aide of leg braces & a walker.,
My current problem is a pain in my upper right quardrant abdominal. Which is felt upon movement, before I eat and after I eat. Sometimes I feel a warm sensation over my entire abdominals. Often I feel like belching.
Back in January of 2007, while having a routine check-up I mention to my PCP about the annoying discomfort I'd experience in the R-ab when transfering from one sitting position to another.
He did all the test ....ultra- sound, sct-scan.
Referred me to a specialist who did a colonscopy, a contrast s& c, plus an MRI all came back negative.
I was given PREVPAC for two weeks because an infection was found. The pain left and the tone in my legs were lessen.
The pain is back...not annoying but full blown pain. Not constant but upon movement, especially on my right side.
Have scheduled yet another appointment with my PCP to further investigate the source of the pain.
I've used uncoated Bayer asprin for pain during my recovery period from the Straph infection.
Could this be the underlying problem and why didn't the above test find an ulcer?
