for the past two months ive been treated for pleurisy.
ive been given three courses of anti-biotics, and painkillers for the intense pain ive been in.
my doctor seems to think it will just go away, but the pain comes and goes, and im getting hot flushes now quite often.
i had an xray on my lungs that was clear, and my blood work showed an increased white blood cell count.
within the past two weeks ive been getting a tight feeling in my throat too, sometimes it feels like i cant swallow.
i did go back to my gp last week and he suggested another xray, which seems like a waste of time to me.
if it was bacterial pleurisy wouldnt the xray have shown up anything ?
and could it be that i have viral pleurisy and if so, is there any treatment for that, i cant bare the thought of being this ill for much longer.
