I am a 41 year old with Diabetes IDDM. I've had it 30 years. While i was going through a stressful divorce, I got very ill. I struggled to walk, had no strength to move, hated clothes touching my skin(it was so painful) couldn't poo or pee. Extreme fatigue and pain overwelmed me. Suicide was a constant thought. 12 years later, with a lot of self motivation and doctors visits, I still don't know whats wrong. I struggle to get up and going. Doing usual chores, like washing and dressing and just moving are a constant struggle. I'm on tramadol and gabapentine for pain. It still hurts, especially in the buttocks, where I get a burning sensation. I've lost a lot of muscle tone, my sphincter and vaginal muscles are not strong. In fact none of my muscles are strong. My stomach makes loud and strange noises after I eat or drink. My bowels fluctuate between constipation and diarrhoea. Diarrhoea usually comes with my periods and pain is increased too. I am constantly tired and weak and have a hard time walking. I pray that someone can help tell me what's going on.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
