I really need some help. About 6 months ago I noticed a small numb spot on my right thigh up by my hip. I measured about 2 inches around. Then 2 months ago a numb spot appeared on my right arm starting at my shoulder that measured approximately 1 inch around. I had an xray that was normal so my doctor sent me to have a CT scan. The scan showed a herniated disc in my lumbar spine that was too low to cause these symptoms and Spina Bifida Occulta at T12. He states that that won't cause the symptoms either. He prescribed me flexeril and vicodin for the pain which did not work. Then he called in Soma which is not working either. Since then I have pins and needles all the way down my leg to my foot. I am having muscle spasms in my leg and arm. I also get these shooting, burning pains down my leg and into my groin as well as down my arm. The original numb spot on my leg extends down to my knee and up through my buttock and burns. The numb spot on my arm extends down to my elbow. I have a spinal column stimulator in my back that is treating RSD in my left hand so I cannot have an MRI and I am allergic to Toradol and other anti-inflammatories so that is not an option either. I am at a loss and my doctor is stumped. If you have any ideas please share them. I am worried that all of this will be permanent. My life is already really restricted and I have a 5 year old son that I have to try to take care of.Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
