I am a 53 year old female. My symtoms started with numbness in my toes and fingers. It progressed to severe cramps in my legs, then the migraine started and lasted for 1 month. I now have severe numbness over my entire body (even my face),severe fatigue and muscle weakness.
6 weeks ago my Dr. ordered many blood tests, blood levels were ok except inflamation in my muscles should have been below 140, mine were 248. and I tested positive for the herpes virus. Neuropathy tests(EMG) show their is no nerve or muscle damage. Skin biopsy was taken to check for Small Fiber Neuopathy also a blood test for Lupus was drawn. I have been on Prednisone for 6 weeks for the inflamation with only mild results. The Neuologist started me on 25mg. of Pamelor for my Fibromyalgia and it has helped somewhat with the pain and fatigue, but the weakness and numbness persist. MRI ruled out MS., with only 2 small lesion that I was told are quite common. I cannot walk or stand very long without getting weak anf fatigued.Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.
