About 3 weeks ago I went to my Gyn. with symptoms of a bladder of kidney infection. Urinalysis came back fine. She prescribed antibiotic anyway. Still no relief. I had a vaginal ultrasound and found out I have a small cyst on my left ovary. She wants to watch it for 6 - 8 weeks; however, I am very concerned over the fact that it feels as if it is putting pressure on my bladder thus making more frequent urination. It just does not feel right in my lower left abdomen. I have expressed my concerns to my doctor and she has given me a referral to an urologist to see if there is some other underlying cause. I'm startining to get worried. Do I have cause for concern and should I push for something to be done sooner.

Thank you,

:( ssanders

  • I had one. Small cyst shouldn't be affecting bladder, that may be somthing else. also Dr. will tell you that you will have ovary removed, it's "too difficult to take out cyst from such a small organ". I pushed, and kept my precious God- given ovary, with out the cyst!!! God bless. Only ****s savz.

Thank you, :( ssandersi had a pain that came and went on my left side which was quite painful. Doctor diagnosed it as a kidney infection, i took the antibiotics but the pain came back. For weeks i was in and out of hospital till i had the most horrific pain i went into emergency. It ended up being a 20cm cyst which twisted on my ovary and tube, everything had to get removed. This is a month after i gave birth and i can tell you it was the worst pain i have ever encountered in my life. pls watch your cyst and i you have the option remove immediately!

I was told I had cysts at my right ovary for several years as I was in a constant ache there. This past summer I was diagnosed not only with cysts but with three large tumors on my right ovary. My ob/onc was concerned it was ovarian cancer and went in and ultimately I had a complete radical hysterectomy in late July. Please keep up with this and don't let it go.

Mine is. I was sure that I had kidney stones but my CT scan showed only a cyst on my left ovary. Every thing that I've read says that ovarian cysts cause pain in the lower pelvic areas, so I'm wondering if they have found the cause of my pain. I've been looking for people who have had less than the typical symptoms. Thanks
