Optic Neuritis

I have just been diagnosed with optic neuritis, i have looked at a lot of websites and got a lot of information, however the thing that is bovering me most is the pain in my eye and my head, it is there constantly, like a migraine, stabbing sensation in my head, and when i move my eye, does anyone have any info on how long this can last, went to doc today and he said he cant do out till i go back hosp and not had an appointment yet, any help appreciated thanks,

  • I've had octic neuritis. I've also experienced the other paing that you're descibing. Ask doc about "trigiminal neuraligia".
