Im a 16 year old girl. For several years I have been having occasional dizzy spells. However, they have been becoming more frequent this year. But they are still not that frequent (my last one was three weeks ago) and they only last about a minute. If one occurs, I sit down or lie down and try to relax and it will soon go away. They seem to be situation oriented. They occur if I suddenly get really stressed, if Im active outside in VERY hot weather and during one of my hot flashes. I have been diagnosed with some anxiety disorders such as OCD, GAD and I have some phobias such as agoraphobia. And even though I can leave my house, city and even country, it is very uncomfortable when I do. I have experienced many physical symptoms over the years with my anxiety. These include shortness of breath, stomach pains, hot flashes and tiredness. I am also a hypochondriac and am always googling my symptoms and diseases and think I have very bad illnesses. My dizziness is not quite vertigo but its also not lightheadedness... if i had to choose it would be closer to vertigo. I do take four vitamins daily (including a multi) and I take a natural iron supplement twice a day. I am not going to lie... Im not very active. I am actually quite lazy. Im NOT over weight by any means but I am quite a lazy person. And I have the most irregular sleeping schedule ever (not sure if that matters). What do you think this could be?Reply Follow This Thread Stop Following This Thread Flag this Discussion
