I've never done this before, I am writing to see if this has happened to any one else. I recently had surgery, nothing related to my hand. But while in recovery, I need to have blood drawn. When they did, I immediately felt a numbing in my left thumb, pointer finger, and middle finger. They felt that when the needle went into my arm, it had brushed a nerve. Now two weeks later I am feeling horrible hot poker pains in this hand, mostly on these three fingers, and wrist, and middle of my palm. Any suggesstions anyone can give. They called in a Neurologist who I see again today but I do not really think he will be able to help since everyone has said that this will go away with time, and no one has ever heard of this happening. Of course, non of us have time to wait. Thanks if this ever has happened to you let me know.
