My sister is loosing ground on getting a diagnosis...Help. She is a self-employed Massage Therapist and has been helping people for 15 years. Her story is this: About 10 months ago she started having feelings of malaise & nausea, dizziness...generally does not feel like herself. She has pain in her right upper quad (near ribs/gallbladder/kidney???) that radiates up her chest (she says it feels like nerves).... Anyhow, it's progressively gotten worse. They took her gallbladder out 3 weeks ago, no change. Blood & urine look fine. Kidney appears "a bit enlarged", but surgeon who removed gallbladder said that she had 2 kidney stones that appeared not obstructive. Depression/Anxiety....forget it! Yes, she has both now, but because she isn't functioning!!!! Help? Insight? Suggestive Tests?

Let me know over on the b12 thread and perhaps we can give you a hand.

Dear caring sister, I'll add my opinion to Freddd's; this could well be B12 Deficiency- a condition which few doctors seem able to recognise, and which even fewer know how to treat. Which is a pity because it is easily treated (she can do it herself) and it will only get worse if left to its own devices. Fredd has posted a comprehensive list of signs/symptoms (there are over 200, because B12 is a leading player in over 600 metabolic processes) at posting #1958 on this page. I seriously suggest that you and your sister take a look at it. http://forums.wrongdiagnosis.com/showthread.php?t=9948&page=196 If you consider that B12 could be the problem, please come across and talk to us; we're really quite good at fixing it.
