I have been supplementing for a B12 deficiency based on the protocol listed on this forum. I have been taking the basics with the exception of the B-Right (causes hives) for about 6 weeks. I have experienced great improvement, but I am still plagued with paresthesia of hands/feet at night, swallowing issues, and intermittent mental fog. Should I increase the metafolin 800mcg to 2 times a day or try adding some of the other "might help" supplements? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Current List of Supplementation:
Methyl B12 20000 mcg/day SL
Adeno B12 6000 mcg/day SL
Methyl B12 1000 mcg/week SQ
Metafolin 800 mcg/day PO
Potassium 99 mg/day PO
Zinc 30 mg/day PO
Magnesium 250 mg/day PO
Cal Citrate 630 mg/day PO
Vitamin C 500 mg/day PO
Vitamin D 400 IU/day
Vitamin A 8000 IU/day
Omega 3 Oil 1000 mg/day PO
This forum is a wonderful support group, I am sure that I would still be suffering the severe effects of B12 deficiency if I had not found it. Thanks so much for the support and information.
