My name is Stacy and i have recently been diagnmosed with having MRSA, I also have had MS for 11 years. A dew years ago I had some kind of infection on my leg that got pretty bad, when i went to the hospital I was told it was a Brown Recluse spider bite. Now that i have been diagnosed with MRSA i have my doubts.
This is what i NEED to know. "How does MRSA get passed on to others? I don't know if it was because of me but my boyfrieend has had a nasty infection on his glutis maximus, and on the front of his thigh. I don't know how i would have passed it on to him. And my daughter has had little very sore infections on her butt, she had her first before i had mine. I don't get it i don't understand if this is cause of me or how it all came about. I have had a nasel swab cause i was thinking i have to be harbouring this infection in my body cause these little infections would keep popping up, some in really obscure places of my body. my first was under my right arm ( arm pit). i had to have that one and the one that followed under my meft arem lanced & drained, what kind of pain tht is, my god.
I know i have a already week immune system so by me getting this is no surprise, but why and how my boyfriend possibly got it is beyond me. I don't know much at all about spreading it, this is retarted i have enough to deal with MS and all and then add this on top of it, i can only handle so much. Please someone tell me how this gets passed on, how I would pass it on to whoever. This is stupid and i feel really bad, guilty about the whole thing. Both of them are healthy, good immune sysytens abd all so i don't know...
