Hi i am new on this board and I am really nervous right now. i just turned 40 and have been having lots of health problems this year..Also I guess I should say that I have lupus and thyroid disease. It started with stomach problems and finally diagnosised as pancreatitis, had ERCP (four) they couldn't open the biliary tree very well, why it closed down they have no idea. Now months later I am having pain again and nausea and vomiting, then real bad weakness and fatigue, (so bad some days I am unable to get up out of bed) and night sweats and low grade fevers. I went to Doc. they said it was a virus, rest and take care! well after a month went back and then they put me on a whole bunch of antibiotics. well I went about four weeks and then lymph glands in neck and armpit and elbow swelled, so back on the antibiotics...they didn't work. So Gp sent me to my Rheumy for second opionion. He said it is my lupus don't worry..did tons of blood work and chest x-ray. Then put me on Methotrexate (chemo) for my lupus..it suppress my immune system and helps with symptoms...well I came back to him still feeling in 4 weeks but the change was my glands..they had gone down. Now he decided to send me to a surgeon for biopsy, he couldn't get biopsy because nodes were in bad place..(the ones that were still slightly inlarged) so Rhuemy sends me back to GP and he tries to get some scans done..insurance wouldn't pay until biopsy..now had CT done and seen Oncologist, he said it could be lymphoma. Have family history of luekimia and lymphoma and melenoma. Also have had Epstein Barr in blood work and due to immune problem he feels it could be a problem..I am just scared that they aren't going to diagnosis this right..heck I just would like a diagnosis. I feel like this isn't going to stop..I really want to have a normal day. Get up brush my teeth and go out and work in my barn and work with my horses and get to giving riding lessons to the kids. My life has stopped as I know it.
Does anyone have any suggestions? I really would like some input..
