i am a 47 year old male recently diagnosed with horners syndrome. my left eye is affected and i am being treated for cluster headaches. six weeks ago was the start of the first onset of the headache. i've taken imitrex once for the headaches and have not had the debilitating pain in a couple weeks. the left eye and left side of face and head is still sensitive-between a 1-3 for pain (out of 10 being the worst). the symptoms of horners is not going away though. i've been to several doctors with no real assurance of what will happen and don't know alot about the syndrome to give me any sure answers. so far no tumors or injuries to the sympathetic nerve have been identified but i've changed neurologists and he has not examined the last mri's i had taken five weeks ago. i don't feel like my thought processe are firing like they did before the onset of the cluster headaches and i have an overall sense of helplessness over the pain and changes to the left eye and head that don't seem to be going away. would like to hear from anyone who has experienced the horners syndrome resulting from cluster headaches and help steer me in the right direction for resolvement. thank you.
