I have been suffering for quite a lot time with a number of different issues but no real diagnosis. To give you some back ground on my medical issues, I do have hyperthyroidism and have been taking medication to get all levels within the proper ranges. I am there now, so I can no longer blame all of my issues on my thyroid.
The most serious issues are pains in arms, chest, upper back, and sometimes upper and lower abdomen. (Pains are random...they come and go) I have even most recently had cramps in the back of my calf, and my thigh..especially on the right leg. I have had 2 recent issues of shakiness and sweating that lasts for several minutes and then goes away. Most recently my teeth and jaw hurt, and my neck is very sore. This is bad for a couple of days, and then goes away for a bit. (Visited my dentist and no problems with my teeth) I have been a little sick to my stomach, but not consistently. Usually, I do not have issues at night...it happens after I start my day...usually by noon time.
I do take OTC Prilosec for hearburn, but my heartburn is constant and I go very few if any days without it. Even the OTC no longer works. (I also chew tums and Pepcid AC) I have been taking this daily since December of 2008. Most days I think that my chest and back pains are due to gas, but there are other days I think it is related to my heart.
I have had my gall bladder checked, some tests for my heart. I also eat pretty healthy, don't smoke, slightly overweight, age is 42. I was never sick until my issues with my thyroid began over 3 years ago. I was not diagnosed for a year later and I was miserable. Now, I have all these other issues.
Any ideas anyone? Thanks!
